How do I get Kwanko ads?


Once accepted, you will have access to all the campaigns proposed by Kwanko and all the ads proposed by our advertisers.

On your interface, expand the ads menu and click on it, you will be redirected to the tool that will allow you to find the ads for the campaigns to be relayed. 

In order to find the campaign and therefore the associated ads, we suggest that you carry out a search via filters. You can easily find a campaign (and therefore its associated ads) by filtering on: type of ads, campaign name, IAB categories,...

Ads such as (non-exhaustive list):

  • banners in different formats (250x250, 120X90 ... depending on their availability) in Javascript or HTML codes.

  • text links in Javascript or HTML code

  • mail kits (validation of the sendout required by the Account Manager)

  • deeplink (a deep link is a link that points to an internal page of a website and not to its homepage), available if available on the campaign

  • product feed (CSV or XML feed)

  • RSS feeds of voucher codes

  • XML feeds for ads

It is possible to perform a mass download of the ads via a CSV file for one or more campaigns / websites. 

Product feeds are also available in the dedicated menu: Product feed where you will find CSV and XML feeds. Please note that access to the feeds requires additional validation. Your request should be sent to: publisher@kwanko.com

Please note: No ads (banners, feeds,...) can be delivered to you as an example and/or test until you have registered with an active website that meets our acceptance criteria on our platform. You will have access to your detailed statistics per programme, per website, period, ads, conversions...

How to set up ad tracking on your website?


Installation code (Javascript)

The installation code is the easiest way to set up your tracking. All you have to do is copy this code via the button on the right of the script and paste it into your website or source code where you want it.

This code will display your ad (e.g. banner) and automatically set up its tracking.

URL

The use of URLs is recommended: 

  • If you use tools that do not support Javascript.

  • If you use a third-party tracking system.

Make sure you set all the URLs provided otherwise the tracking may not work.

How can I monetise my social networks? 


To monetise your social networks, we need to be able to track sales from your posts.

There are 2 solutions for this: 

> use a personalised voucher code 

You can obtain a voucher code from the advertiser you are interested in on a case by case basis, please contact our team at team.publisher@kwanko.com.

Share this code on all your networks, each time it is used a sale will come up on our platform thanks to our VoucherTAG tracking technology. You will then get a commission on it.

> Use a text/deep link.

Facebook: Add a link to your Facebook posts.

Instagram: Add a link to your Instastories posts 

Youtube: Add a link in the description of the video.

TikTok: You can add the tracked link in your bio. For the moment the swipe-up option does not exist.

  • Open your profile page;

  • Press "Edit Profile";

  • Click on "Website" and paste your link.

If you do not see the line "Website", you need to change your personal account to a business account.

Twitch : You can use a link in the chat command.

How can I monetise my website or blog?

 

To monetise your website or blog, we need to be able to track sales from your content.

This can be done by using links in your articles, on the photos you publish when you highlight specific products or by adding banners to your advertising spaces.

1) log in to your account, your email is your login and you have normally received your password by email, if not you can do “password forgotten”: https://publisher.kwanko.com/login

2) Then click on Ads menu > then ads > select the programme concerned > the available ads appear, including the banners

Text links and deeplinks: What is the difference and how do you generate them?


Text links are tracking links that you can insert in your articles or on images.

Example of a link: https://action.metaffiliation.com/trk.php?mclic=XXXXX

The text links are available in the "ads" tab of your account. They are generic and generally redirect to the advertiser's homepage, to retrieve them:

2) Then click on ads > then ads > then select the programme concerned > the available ads appear, including the text links 

Deeplinks are links that redirect to a specific page of the advertiser's website (e.g. a product page or a specific category). 

You can easily create deeplinks that fit your specific needs by downloading our Kwanko Toolbox plugin in Chrome webstore:

1) After installing it, go to the website of the advertiser you want to promote

2) click on the plugin in the upper right corner to activate it;

3) you are asked for a key, you can get it here: https://publisher.kwanko.com/#/plugin

4) Once this key is entered, the links will be automatically generated on the pages of your choice on the advertiser's website: for example you want to highlight the latest XY product, you have to go to the XY product page on the advertiser's website and click on your plugin to generate the link 

5) The link that appears is ready to be used.

6) Beware, if you want to use it on Instagram, you still need to shorten it via the website bitly or similar because Instagram usually doesn't support our long links and there are bugs!

You can also generate deeplinks on our platform by following these steps: 

1) Log in to your account, your email is your login, you have normally received your password by email, if not you can do “forgotten password”:

2) Then click on ads menu > then ads > then select the programme concerned > the available ads appear, including the deeplinks

3) Select a campaign and then the website for which you want to generate a deeplink

4) Paste the URLs that you want to track (you can put up to 5 URLs)

5) The link that appears is ready to be used.

6) Beware, if you want to use it on Instagram, you still need to shorten it via the website bitly or similar because Instagram usually doesn't support our long links and there are bugs!


How can I boost my results?


Be creative and diversify the content of your ads

An article or review with links to a particular product allows the user to discover the brand. A promo code encourages them to make a purchase. A newsletter sent to your users will convert much better. We therefore advise you to diversify the promotion of your ads by using all the ads available on your campaigns (banners, text links, email kits, voucherTAGs etc.).

Create an exclusive partnership with brands

Some brands are willing to give away exclusive voucher codes or products to be tested by the publishers. Ask the campaign's account manager to negotiate exclusive partnership conditions. Don't hesitate to propose to brands a plan that will give them good visibility in return for an increase in payout,  exclusive voucher codes, challenges etc... 

Complete your website's information to be invited by advertisers to join their campaigns. To do this, simply go to the "My websites" tab and update your information (logo, description, traffic type).
